What is the bridal diet and how can it help me lose weight for my wedding?

Your wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life. It is the one day when you and you alone are the focus of attention. You are very much going to be the centre of attention on your wedding day so you'll wan't to look stunning and perfect. You'll put a lot of effort and money into making sure that every aspect of your appearance is perfect. But suppose you've put on a few pounds since your last dress fitting? A bridal diet is what you need.

There is no shortage of advice out there on the Internet but very little that is designed to work in the short space of time you have left before your wedding - you'll need something that is totally targeted on one thing - getting you in shape for the big day.

You want a bridal diet that you can ahdere to without being distracted by redundant information. In the run up to your wedding you're going to be very busy, so you wan't want to get distracted by worrying about your diet and eating plan.

It isn’t your fault either – in the weeks up to your wedding there is bound to be a number of parties, hen nights and other celebrations and it is easy to take your eye off the ball and a few pounds can easily go on without your even noticing.

So your bridal diet that is going to help you lose weight for your wedding needs to be simple and straightforward, undemanding in terms of time and able to put you in the right frame of mind for what is bound to be a somewhat stressful build up to your wedding.

Let's just think about the problem that most of us have with losing weight. So why is it such a difficult thing to do, even when our motivation levels are high?

Well, we need to understand that our bodies were designed to operate in environment where food was nowhere near as plentiful as it is today. It follows, that our digestive system tries to get as much energy as possible out of everything that we put into our mouths. When food was scarce, which it always was in the olden days, it was the high energy foods that we instincively preferred, in orer to stay alive. And that’s why we prefer a cream cake to a bowl of bran.

An effective bridal diet must therefore reverse these natural tendencies and reduce calorie intake without causing cravings or any other problems.

If we understand why our body behaves the way it does with regard to food, we can at least have a fighting chance of losing weight when we need to.

As you will probably know, there are thousands of weight loss programs, courses, clubs and plans, some of which might be helpful to you, but if you only have a few weeksto go then you need a plan that is totally focused on one thing - losing a consistent amount each week in a targeted and totally focused way..
